A CHANGE OF PERSPECTIVE

Taking your exercise routine outside - whether it be yoga, pilates, running or another other practice - is an opportunity to challenge yourself and receive the many mind and body benefits of fresh air, a change of perspective, and a dose of gentle morning sunlight.

There is nothing quite like being outside in the spring morning air under a soft blue sky with your yoga mat rolled out on a patch of grass. The cool of night lingers, the birds are chittering. You have devoted the next hour to reconnecting with your body, challenging yourself, and laying a strong foundation for whatever the day brings.

When you're lying on your mat you may open your eyes and take a moment to really notice the drift of clouds being moved along by wind, the intricate swoop of a robin or dragonfly, the fleeting beauty of each second. You may carry that small moment - those clouds and sky - like a pebble in your pocket long after you've rolled your mat up.
